Equipment LoaningAFSC offers a range of equipment, electronics, household gadgets and games to housing residents on loan. The load period in seven days. You can access the list of available loan items here.Loaning policy 1. The loan items are issued to the residents of 3rd & Union, BBHN, Campus View, Evermann, Redbud, Tulip Tree and University East Apartments only. Residents are not allowed to lend the loan items to others. 2. Items will be loaned on showing proof of identification. 3. The check out period is seven (7) days. Loan items must be returned in the same condition when they were checked out. The residents will be asked to disinfect the item and sign the loan form when they return the item to the AFSC Office. 4. Items must be returned to the AFSC Office during office hours, The loaned out should not be left outside the office premises. 5. If the loan item or part of the loan item is found damaged when returned, the borrower shall be charged the cost of repair or replacement. 6. The borrower will be charged for not returning or losing the loaned item. 7. Failure to abide by AFSC Equipment Rental Regulations will cause the user to lose loaning privileges for a month. 8. Continued violation of AFSC Equipment Rental Regulations will result in permanent loss of equipment (and/or accessory) usage privileges. Residents may request a purchase-for-loan item by submitting the Equipment Recommendation Form. On the form, the applicant will explain the need for the item for residents and provide a price range for the item. The completed form should be emailed to afsc@iu.edu |
